Open Doors Photo Prize

This year’s edition saw well over 1,200 projects submitted from around the world, showcasing a diverse range of styles and approaches. Twenty-one outstanding emerging pioneers of the photographic medium were selected to showcase their work and be included in the print sale. All of these photographic artists caught the attention of our panel with their powerful imagery and unique approaches to storytelling.

Each of these artists was invited to participate in our online exhibition, which opens in November, and the exhibition in London at Battersea, running for just over a month until January 30, 2025.

Emily June Smith was the winner of this year’s AJ Page People’s Choice Award.

Emily June Smith was also part of this year’s Artist Panel Talk, alongside winning artist Sophie Gabrielle and fellow Zinnia Collective member Elizabeth Blackie, discussing their work with Steve Macleod, Director of Metro Imaging, and Tom Page, Director and Founder of Open Doors Gallery.
